Those given scripture became divided after seeing clear evidence. They were also commanded for prayer charity and truth. Tiding of punishment for all such people who forsake their religion and reward the perpetual residence for the righteous

Allah SWT commandments were always the same, people intentionally divided their religion even after seeing the evidence

Why it was necessary to send Muhammed pbuh with a new revelation since all of humanity had gone wrong and distorted the religion

Allah SWT only asks mankind to praise Allah SWT by offering him devotion being true to pray salah and give charity. That is the religion of truth

Those who cling to these simple practises of faith in Allah SWT, prayer and charity will be offered the gardens of paradise underneath which rivers flow as their prize, for Allah SWT is pleased with them for being the best of possible creations

Those who turn away however shall meet the fires of hell
