Muhammed pbuh declined to compromise with idolatory

There cannot be any bargains in the matter of faith and worship. People are free to follow whatever religion they want but the truth and falsehood cannot be mixed together

Qureysh leaders asked the prophet pbuh to compromise in religion and have wealth and any woman in marriage or to follow their Gods for a year and they would worship Allah SWT for a year (same space of time). Then this Surah and Surah Zumur V64 came
