10: AN ANFAL - SPOILS OF WAR

75 VERSES MADINAH REVELATION

Property taken in the war belongs to Allah SWT and his Messenger PBUH. 313 men walked in the desert for 3 days when they stopped near the water of Badr. Rain fell heavily on Qureysh who could not advance because of the ground and fell lightly on the muslims who advanced to the water.

Ansar were given the chance of returning as fighting was not prescribed. They were hurt by this. Qureysh outnumbered the muslims 2:1

The Prophet PBUH prayed for help and told Abu Bakr PBUH the promised help had come. The Prophet PBUH threw a handful of gravel at Qureysh and the battle changed.

The victory achieved by the Muslims is because of Allah’s help without which they could have never succeeded against the huge army of Makkah

The battle of Uhud and War of the Trench were to come.

17: Muslims did not slew the enemies Allah SWT did. The prophet PBUH did not throw but Allah SWT threw to test the believers

28: Possessions and children are a test

44: Allah SWT made you see the enemy as few and lessoned you in their eyes so Allah SWT may conclude a thing that must be done.
