One of the last nights of Ramadhan on which the prophet pbuh received his call in the vision of Mt Hira. Allah SWT decrees for the year are brought down to the earthly plane. The Quran vouchsafed to Muhammed pbuh on the night of Al Qadr

The blessings due to the acts of worship during this night cannot be equaled even by worshipping throughout an entire lifetime. The reward of acts of worship done in this single one night is more than the reward of around 83 years 1000 months of worship

Muhammed pbuh received the revelations that formed the Quran piecemeal for the next 23 years of his life up until the time of his death
