Fatiha means opener and in this case opener of the Quran. Surah Al Fatiha and the seven repeated verses are the prayer and the Quran is the answer. Every prayer starts with Al Fatiha it is Umm-ul-Kitab. The Holy Prophet Muhammed PBUH said that whoever recites this Surah, he will get the reward for reciting two thirds of the whole Qur'an, and will get the reward equivalent to what would be gained by giving charity to all the believing men and women in the world
