False beliefs are likened to a spider’s web for frailty. It gives comfort to the muslims in a time of persecution. The early Muslim’s were persecuted in Makkah where Muhammed pbuh was not head of state and not they were not persecuted in Madinah where Muhammed pbuh was head of state and had some protection.

Prophets Nuh, Abraham, Lut, Shueyb, Hud,Salih,Musa and Muhammed peace and blessings be upon them were all prophets of Allah SWT. All endured hardships

3: All are tested and those who were before so Allah Swt knows those who are sincere and those who are not

8: If parents join with Allah SWT that which you have no knowledge obey them not

14: Noah pbuh continued with his folk for 950 years and the flood engulfed them for they were wrongdoers

16: Abraham pbuh said to his folk serve Allah SWT and keep your duty unto him

24: The answer of his folk was to say ‘kill him’ or ‘burn him’ Allah SWT saved him from the fire

26: Lut pbuh believed Abraham pbuh

27: Abraham pbuh was bestowed Isaac pbuh and Jacob pbuh and the prophethood was established among his seed.

28: Lut pbuh warned his folk but their reply was ‘bring Allah SWT doom upon us if thou art a truth teller!’

33: Messengers came to Lut pbuh and said fear not not grieve. Lut pbuh and household save hi s wife would be delivered

34: A fury from the sky was to be brought down upon the folk of the township

37: Shueyb pbuh was denied and the earthquake took them. Aad and Thamud were destroyed in unbelief

39: Musa pbuh came unto Korah Pharoah and Haman with clear proofs of Allah SWT sovereignty but they were boastful

40: One was sent the hurricane one was overtaken by the awful cry and one who the earth swallowed and of them was he who was drowned

41: The likeness of those who choose other patrons then Allah SWT is as the likeness of the spider when she taketh unto herself a house, the frailest of all houses is the spiders house. (Idolatory is likened to a spiders web)

58: Those who believe and do good works will be housed in lofty dwellings of the garden underneath which rivers flow

64: This life is a pastime and game, the home of the hereafter-that is life
