42 VERSES MAKKAN REVELATION

The prophet pbuh was in conversation with a great man of Qureysh his own tribe and a blind man came and asked a question concerning the faith. The prophet pbuh was annoyed at the interruption frowned and turned away from the blind man. The prophet pbuh is told in this surah that a mans importance is not to be judged from his appearance or worldly station.

Preference should be given to the seekers of guidance not to influential powerful people

“Don’t feel ashamed when giving little for charity; that is because there is always goodness in giving no matter how little.” Ali Ibn Abi Talib (RA)
