3rd HA'MIM 53 VERSES MAKKAN REVELATION

The reason why the Quran was sent, it is the same religion given to previous prophets

11: Allah SWT has made you pairs and the cattle pairs

13: Allah SWT ordained for you that religion which he commended unto Noah pbuh and that which is inspired to Muhammed pbuh and that which was commended unto Abraham pbuh Musa pbuh Jesus/Isa pbuh. Establish the religion and be not divided

14: They were not divided until after the knowledge came unto them through rivalry among themselves

15: Muhammed pbuh say Allah SWT is our Lord and you Lord. Unto us our works and unto you your works no argument between us and you. Allah SWT will bring us together and unto him is the journeying

23: Say Muhammed pbuh to mankind, ‘ I ask of you no fee therefore save loving kindness amongst kinsfolk’

30: Whatever you have been given is a passing comfort for the life of the world and that which Allah SWT hath is better and more lasting for those who believe abd out their trust in their Lord

49: Allah SWT bestows male offspring and female offspring to whom he will

50: Or he mingleth them male and female and maketh barren whom he will

52: The scripture is a light to guide our bondmen. We inspired in thee Muhammed pbuh a spirit of our command. Muhammed pbuh was unaware of Islam until he received the revelation of the Quran

Allah SWT revelation can reach his chosen individuals especially prophets

1-Inspired message: an idea can enter the heart of the chosen individual either in a state of consciousness or in a dream

2-The word heard by the person spoken to like from behind a veil

3- Sent from Allah SWT through angels like Gabriel and delivered to the prophets. It is the highest form of revelation and the Quran was revealed in this mode

The Quran was revealed over 23 years until shortly before Muhammed pbuh death in 632

Poetry was widely used in Makkah and for this reason the Makkans accused Muhammed pbuh of being a poet.
